Throughout the last 18 months or so, the historical Turkish series “Muhteşem Yüzyıl” also known as “Hareem Al Sultan”, has captivated hundreds of thousands of Arabs, who have been anxiously awaiting, since the end of Season 2, what will happen with the series after the Turkish government had voted at the end of last year against continuing to air it across media stations.
While “OSN Ya Hala”, the channel which was the first to start it, still doesn’t have a frank answer about the issue, Dubai TV surprisingly enough however, has got other thoughts.
In a very recent press release about 10 days ago, the TV station denied its will to stop broadcasting the series, claiming it has grasped a huge audience and that the story itself is a huge success, despite what Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey’s current Prime Minister and the one behind the decision, had to say.
So, what is for sure, is that Dubai TV will air Hareem Al Sultan Season 3, with OSN and LBCI yet to confirm doing so.
The date is still uncertain however, with rumors spreading around that it will most likely come back around the month of Ramadan (July), which in my opinion, is perfect for them. Another source stated April or May, but I have my doubts about it.
The series won’t be modified, nor rushed.
The episodes will be shown as filmed, but the end, awaited in Season 4, will not come by as expected.
Instead, the story will simply end the way Season 3 was normally expected to stop, and the audience won’t be able to witness the agony of some main characters of the plot, nor how they will vanish.
Anyway, if you are too anxious and cannot wait for the series to resume, you can find most of its episodes online.
